trip to glen waverley with my bestest bud-nikkie! it was a short bus ride away yet it was a wonderful girls night out had dinner at a vegetarian restaurant, VV eating. have been telling nik about it since i first had dinner there..anyway, it was good food with great company. we ordered tofu, prawns n fried rice. at first we thought that it was going to be impossible to finish all the food.. but we eventually managed to. our stomachs were so satisfied that we decided to walk to safeway to get our groceries before heading to the cinema. got to century city walk and there was a bazaar going on. and it was great...cos nik was planning on getting beanies and she managed to find some really nice ones there. and bought our tickets for ice age 2. lucky us, we still had time to go get coffee at gloria jeans (which happened to be just across the street) and our train tickets from the station before the movie started. for a saturday night, the cinema was anything but packed.the cinemas back home are usually bursting with people, especially couples, on saturday nights. it was proabably a day that watching a late night movie would mean booking tickets online or buying it in advanced. but in melb, the cinema was not even 25% filled.. oh well. but the show was good. it was a good laugh with all the silly moments. if u are a kiddie at heart, u should catch this movie. it's guaranteed to make u laugh so hard...and dont forget the popcorn.
before i headed out to the movies, it was an afternoon with my sunshine. i was really surprised that he came back to halls after his work at MSAC. just to see his face ard noon, when i thought he was going to spend the day with bb, was just great! it made me smile. someone was planning to take me shopping to make me smile... but as i was really tired, we didnt go out in the end. and i didnt get to play NBA live and my 3 point shootout with kobe as my star player. but i;ll get the chance to when my sunshine get back.... heehee.
