okie. got to celebrate baobei day. was somewhat different..
our first stop was to uni. haha. let baobei get his hep A vaccination. haha. was so tempted to whack him hard on the jab spot.. but decided i should spare him the agony. haha. arent i evil. hahaha. got my daily dose of coffee from coffee HQ....which was good.havent had coffee in a long long time.
next stop. suppliers. yeaps. baobei had to go collect supplies. so yeah. followed along in the car, listening to the radio, chaning channels each time the song didnt appeal. haha. but yeah, it was cool.. havent had the radio for some time. since i dont drag my portable radio ard.. and yeah, just dont listen to it at halls.
lunch at glen waverley. sushi sushi. haha. yes, i love my jap food. had unagi bento and baobei had has fav beef teriyaki bento. and we had scallops and miso soup.. haha. the staff at sushi sushi must think we're some boring pple, cos we have the same food each time we eat there. watched cars as they drove by..deciding which car looked nice...and which didnt. and a taxi stalled on the zebra crossing. how rare is that! caused a massive holdup...and lots of angry drivers. but yeah, lunch was kinda rushed cos baobei had to head to the shop.
then off to the city! baobei dropped me off on collins st. yes, shopping haven! went to birks to collect my birks that i had sent for repair. and yes, the lady was so super rude.. so much for being a boutique. but yeah. went to tiffany & co to get my silver bracelet polished. takes 1 week for it to be cleaned professionally. hopefully, it will rid the awesome bracelet of the scratches. heehee. the best stop--- GUCCI! haha. went in to look at new wallets. as baobei wasnt with me then, had the opportunity to check out all the different wallets in the shop. heehee. and the poor salesgirl was super shocked to see me there. must be cos i look like some little kiddie. was spoilt for choice. there were lots that looked really classy, yet practical. picked out a few wallets which i thought were nice...and fits baobei's criteria. yes, he has a criteria for wallets too! (dont we all?) haha. baobei called to see where i was, and yes, got him to head down to gucci... and he thought i was buying a wallet for my daddy. (cos daddy's birthday was 2 weeks ago) haha. so yes, the salesgirl knew it was for baobei. baobei thought it was for daddy. so it was kinda funny. anyway, baobei decided on one that looks simple, but classy. haha. and yes, not too old looking. will try and borrow his wallet to upload pics. haha. nearly bought the matching key holder for it.. but decided against it, cos baobei doesnt have many keys to carry around, besides his house keys and his car keys!
leaving the city was somewhat a nightmare. greeted by peak hour traffic of people heading home...and it was getting dark. but i was kinda hyper. haha. so decided that maybe we should head to chaddy to shop. got there, and realised the more pressing concern was where to eat..cos i was hungry.. so then decided to head to glen waverley instead.
jap food rules! headed to yokohama teppanyaki. had my favourite seaweed salad, the deep fried oysters..kaki fry!..sushi/sashimi combination, tender beef and green tea ice cream! it was a good dinner. should have seen that look on baobei's face. he was really happy from eating all the good food..and he even said that we should eat at yokohama jap restaurant instead of sushi-sushi next time. heehee. and maybe, we;ll have teppanyaki the next time. (we've been saying that for some time... maybe on the next baobei day) dinner was great, we had lots and lots of fun. laughing and making silly jokes. and yes, probing each other about random questions that came to mind. and i finally know where baobei's lighter is...
