baobei came back early in the morning.. after having really disturbed sleep to play bball with andrew. and he got his birthday card early.. and yes, he did seem happy with the card...
decided to head out for lunch. so got ready...and there was this mega surprise waiting for me at the carpark. haha. not, it wasnt some big cake...or a surprise party.. but baobei's new car! what a surprise. he was telling me all morning that he was driving his mummy's car.. but refused to show me the car keys. haha. cheeky bao! yes, so we got to drive out in baobei's new car.... with those nice shiny tyres..and the the new car smell... and of course, the fact that baobei has this awesome number plate. haha.
lunch at pancake parlour, glen waverley. was tossing between my fav jap food and pancakes. baobei decided on pancakes.. which was goooddd...cos jap was closed.. haha. pancakes.. between sweet and savoury. decided on mozarella pancake, while baobei had his fav potato and cheese pancake with bacon bits! and his freshly squeezed lemonade! we havent had pancakes for such a long time... that i dont remember when we last ate at pancake parlour.. must have been before rural. haha.
post lunch, got to play arcarde. haha. my fav...daytona! haha. i'm so going to drag baobei down to chinatown to play daytona all day.. haha. and what's even more amazing was that my fastest lap was even faster than baobei's! and i wanted to get the carcar from the catcher thingee machine.. but the machine didnt seem to be working as it didnt accept the coin.. so sad.. so no carcar for me. sulks.
got back to halls...and baobei parked the car.. before asking me to drive.. haha. so i asked to drive the new car at the other caarpark instead.. so baobei drove to uni....so that i could drive around the engineering carpark.... had the whole carpark to steer the car..and got to drive the car up and down the ramp. and i was so scared to scratch his new car.. n so...was avoiding the sides at all cost... got to drive around uni... just round and round the uni campus with all those silly speed bumps ever 20-30 metres...and the many many roundabouts. then baobei asked me to do a L park at the carpark near campus centre... that was bad...as tthe driveway was so narrow...and misjudged the space....nearly scratched the car...and bao was so so angry.. so we had a timeout of my L driving for the timebeing. haha. and then continued driving around...and it wasnt too bad... and baobei seemed quite satisfied with my driving till he decided to make me park at sports n rec carpark.. and that was some nightmare! i steered too much...and baobei said too much.. but then i thought he meant that i went over the middle line... and didnt straighten the wheel in time...so mounted the curb...and nearly smashed the car into the signage... u could see that baobei was pretty mad with me at this time. so yeah.. decided to park the car...and let him drive instead. 2 hours of driving around uni...and baobei is nowq pretty certain that he wont let me drive his new car till i get more practise with m driving instructor.
after all that driving, was dead tired. came back and slept. haha. eat, drive and sleep. if only life is like that everyday man. anyways, slept from 5 plus to about 9. haha. but somehow was still really tired after that.
had dinner at about 9 plus.. at maccas. yes, havent eaten maccas in a long time... when baobei had his green car.. we had maccas so often cos i didnt cook...and if we missed eating at the mess hall..we wld eat fast food. haha. esp the maccas on springvale road. so yes, we went there for dinner. nothing special.. too many people.. but baobei was busy looking at his car.. to make sure no one scratches his awesome car...
baobei day came and went. and yes, i was happy to spend time with baobei...and just hang out n not worry about exams.
