a story of true courage, dedication and love for the community. yes, i watched the sept 11 attacks on the world trade centre and how the the story was filmed according to the story of 2 of the survivors: wil and john. respect! it was a really touching story...and yes, baobei wanted to watch it again!
the movie made me reflect on the life i've lead. i remember clearly the night when the world trade towers got hit by commercial planes. i remember how i was trying to watch the last episode of my chinese drama serial on channel 8. and i remember how i thought that the news, that was on telly in my parents; room, was nothing more than a joke. i did watch the crash over and over again as it played on the news the few days after...and i did see how the plane crashed into the pentagon too. i remember how dad was telling me to watch the new instead of my trashy tv show, but yes.. i love my drama serials. so i was running between both rooms. how funny.. when i had a chemistry prelim exam the next day..and i so needed to get my A. but yes, how little i knew of the world...as my eyes were often watching lame trash.. (and i still love all my nonsense shows!)
realisation. how little emphasis i've paid to the things around me, and how i dont make the most of each and every day. the little things in life we take for granted, the many things we dont appreciate. i should count my blessings, and not my worries. i;m blessed with a baobei to love (and to be loved) and a constant source of support. i'm lucky to find a guy who despite all his commitments, treasures me the way he does. i thankful that we share our happiness and woes, and that we emerge stronger as the days pass. depsite all the troubled waters we've been through, i;m just happy that we're still together;sharing, caring & loving one another. i really love my baobei. he's my world, my sunshine, my everything.
blessed with a loving family. my fav sibling (ok, my only ones.. but they're my fav still) : ej, sj n xd! they mean so much to me. and it's cool that they have so much respect for me. or so they claim. parents who dote on me, and yes, let me get my way.. most of the time anyway. i'm lucky to have friends who care. even though they might not be anywhere near, or not just a train ride away.. but a whole 7hour plane ride ... they do offer their listening ears..and eyes, while i type away on msn...and the tall guy that writes to me, even though i hardly reply. haha. and my twin, huix, who despite being so far away, still sends me emails..and is always on msn for me!
heehee.
so yes, watch world trade centre. how funny, i feel so lucky and blessed after watching such a tragic movie. and baobei, i dont regret watching it.... we can always watch the devil wears prada next time! heehee.
